We will be migrating to an off-site data center at approximately 21:00 today.
We will do this option due to a cost factor and IPv6 support.
We will independently update all DNS zones to the new IP addresses, so we expect no problems here. We will synchronize both host systems for 24 hours to prevent DNS issues. During this time, no changes will be possible.
All services run top after a few days of monitoring.
However, combahton's Layer 7 DDoS protection is still causing some problems with our websites. This is because SSL certificates are overwritten and routed through the proxy, which has its own certificate. We still have to find a solution for this, but otherwise everything runs great after the migration and we can't complain.
The migration from our web server was a bit problematic at first, but we were able to fix the problem. All pages are now already routed on the new host system.
We will monitor the DNS zones for another 24 hours.
** vweb01 **
We have to start a new migration here as well, because we transferred some errors - which caused problems in the files. We will tackle this process within the next two hours.
We have just started the reinstallation of the new host system for our web server (web).
Which hopefully should be completed now. Because yesterday we could not migrate our internal data, due to combahton DDoS protection. Today, the problem should no longer exist and the migration should be completed without complications.
The transfer of vweb01 has just been completed. However, there may still be some HSTS errors, but this will fix itself.
At the moment, we are starting to transfer data to the new host systems. This can lead to longer loading times and process actions, since the performance is enormously stressed here.
The vweb01 is currently at 70%, our web server (web) is currently still at about 35%.
